Job Purpose
To plan, coordinate, and supervise building construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities at site.
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards and QHSE requirements.
- Prepare method statements, material submittals, RFIs, and technical reports.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Monitor manpower productivity and site performance.
- Participate in project planning, cost control, and risk assessment.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and contract requirements.
- Support procurement and material planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional certifications or PMP (preferred).
- Valid driving license in Qatar (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in building construction projects.
- Strong experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or renovation projects.
- GCC / Qatar project experience is highly preferred.
