Project Engineer – Gulf Cranes

Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Summary

Abu Adel Engineering & Mechanical Services (AAES) is seeking a Project Engineer to manage crane projects from order receipt through final handover. The successful candidate will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from order receipt to final handover.
• Coordinate design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules and progress reports.
• Manage technical submittals and customer approvals.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and site teams.
• Follow up on FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
• Ensure timely project delivery while meeting cost and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in crane projects, heavy equipment, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of project coordination and execution.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in technical documentation and customer coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project/Primavera is an advantage.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar with a transferable QID will be given preference.
