Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage architectural and finishing works to ensure compliance with design intent, approved drawings, and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily activities with the project manager, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation.
- Monitor and control progress of finishing activities including blockwork, plastering, painting, tiling, ceiling, and joinery works to meet project schedules.
- Ensure that all works are executed in accordance with approved materials, mock-ups, and quality standards.
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to ensure compatibility with architectural and structural requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship, alignment, and finishes meet project and client expectations.
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, work inspection requests (WIRs), and ensure accurate documentation of site activities.
- Coordinate with MEP teams to resolve interface issues and ensure smooth integration of architectural and MEP finishes.
- Assist in preparation of quantity take-offs, material requisitions, and inventory control for finishing materials.
- Identify design discrepancies or site constraints and propose practical solutions in consultation with senior engineers and consultants.
- Enforce project safety standards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations across all finishing activities.
- Support in scheduling, planning, and sequencing of finishing works to achieve timely handover of deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in architectural and finishing works supervision (high-rise or large-scale projects preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction detailing, finishing standards, and materials used in high-quality interior and exterior works.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiar with project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Thorough understanding of QA/QC and HSE practices in construction.
- GCC experience and valid driving license are preferred.
