Job Title: Project Engineer

Project Duration: 9 Months (Extension Based on Project Forecast)
Location: Jamshoro Site
Experience Required: Minimum 6 Years (Construction, Petrochemical, Manufacturing Plant & Related Industries)
Additional Benefits: Lunch/Dinner & Tea Provided, Overtime Rate – PKR 300/hour

Job Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing construction and mechanical projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and effective coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, adherence to safety standards, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Design

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop detailed project plans and designs.
  • Conduct feasibility analyses for proposed project sites.

2. Cost Estimation & Budgeting

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets.
  • Monitor financial feasibility and ensure adherence to budget constraints.

3. Project Management (PMP-Aligned)

  • Oversee and coordinate project activities to meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Develop project proposals, schedules, and reports in alignment with PMP methodology.
  • Facilitate management review meetings and provide project status updates.

4. Technical Oversight

  • Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Perform technical calculations to define installation standards and specifications.

5. Site Supervision & Resource Management

  • Inspect sites to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and site resources effectively.

6. Stakeholder Communication & Change Control

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and present technical, financial, and progress reports.
  • Manage change control processes to handle scope adjustments.

7. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure projects comply with industry regulations and safety requirements.
  • Implement safe work practices and resolve system malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years’ proven experience in construction, petrochemical, or manufacturing plant projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and construction management principles.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.

Preferred Skills

  • PMP Certification or equivalent project management credential.
  • Experience with MS Project / Primavera or similar scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs175,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
