You’ll work on cutting-edge auxiliary power systems that support the backbone of modern infrastructure—from renewable integration to mission-critical facilities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead engineering development for auxiliary power systems across multiple projects.

• Design and review single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment sizing.

• Prepare and approve cable raceway designs and system selectivity calculations.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.

• Provide technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning phases.

• Review vendor documentation and manage third-party engineering resources.

• Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve system performance.

• Create work plans, cost estimates, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of related experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in auxiliary power system design, installation, and commissioning.

• Demonstrated professional engineering competence.

• Preferred: Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain.

• Willingness to travel 20% or more as needed.

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
