The Project The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks. They provide technical and HSEQS (Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality & Sustainability) support to Supervisors and assist with administrative tasks, logistics, and procurement as needed. Manage full project engineering responsibilities, including safety documentation, procurement, budgeting, client liaison, and contract administration. Oversee contract activities to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Ensure all permits, approvals, and work plans are in place for daily operations. Support the Electrical Lead Engineer in delivering project milestones on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Prepare technical documentation such as work procedures, ITPs, SWMS, and site access plans. Assist with site inductions for personnel and equipment. Track material traceability, costs, productivity, and maintain accurate records. Contribute to planning, audits, quality management, and coordination with the project delivery team. Required Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of project engineering principles, including budgeting, procurement, QA, and contract administration. In-depth knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards, with the ability to ensure compliance on-site. Proficiency in preparing technical documentation such as SWMS, ITPs, and construction procedures. Effective planning and coordination skills to support project execution and timely handover. Experience with permit management and ensuring work aligns with approvals and specifications. Strong communication and collaboration skills for liaising with clients, supervisors, and project teams. Ability to track costs, manage productivity metrics, and maintain accurate records. Familiarity with quality management systems, internal audits, and continuous improvement practices.
