Project Engineer (Electrical)

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a contracting firm proving end-to-end for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing works. Our company is the sister firm of IZHAR construction company Pvt Ltd. MEP Solutions is seeking a full-time on-site Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our team in Karachi at k-Electric Project.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Daily Manpower report and their Progress report.
• The person should have sufficient expertise to handle all Sub-contractors and their respective coordinates.
• The person should have extensive experience in Fire alarm systems, Fire detection systems, and deluge Control systems.
• Good expertise required in Firefighting Pump MCC Panels (Electrical connection and their termination) and their synchronization.
• Good Expertise required in Laying of Power cable and Fire Alarm cable as per Standard and codes.
• Good Expertise required for complete Electrical testing system as per Standard and codes.
• Design, plan, and execute electrical projects.
• Submit IR after completion of the work.
• Submit MIR when received the Material on site.
• The Project Engineer is responsible for updating the IPC every 10 days and submitting it to the client on the 27th of every month.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings and documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as required.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Develop and implement project plans and schedules.
• Good Expertise required for preparation of As built drawings.
• Good Expertise required for Testing and Commissioning for Electrical/FAS works in Project.

Requirements:

• BE/BSc in Electrical Engineering
• 10-12 years of experience in electrical project management
• Proficiency in electrical design software ( AutoCAD)
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC)
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs140,000.00 per month
