Project Engineer-Motion Service

Your role and responsibilities

As part of our Motion Service team, you will play a key role in delivering drives, motors & generators modernization projects to our customers, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and lifecycle services. You will support the full project lifecycle from planning to execution, while also engaging directly with customers to identify new opportunities.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Support project planning, monitoring, cost control, documentation, and invoicing processes together with Sales Managers
• Conduct customer visits for both business development and project site inspections, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of modernization and energy efficiency projects
• Analyze the Installed Base (IB) of motors, generators, and drives to identify modernization and upgrade potential, providing insights to guide the sales team
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, accurate documentation, and site safety standards (including PPE), while promoting after-project services

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in motion systems (motors, generators, drives), ideally within process industries
• Proven project management skills in planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk, and stakeholder management
• Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer relationship skills
• Customer-oriented, willing to travel without restrictions, and able to work effectively across sales, service, and project teams
