Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Iron Estimator

North Billerica, MA

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in structural and miscellaneous steel estimating, understands fabrication and erection processes, and can manage multiple bid deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents
• Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates
• Coordinate with fabricators, vendors, and project teams
• Support preconstruction planning and value engineering

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years estimating experience in structural or misc. iron
• Strong blueprint reading and computer skills (Bluebeam, Excel, Revu, a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Knowledge of the local market and a strong General Contractor affiliation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,180.81 - $76,088.71 per year

Experience:

• Estimating in structural or misc. iron: 4 years (Preferred)
• Strong blueprint reading and computer skills : 2 years (Preferred)
