Project Executive (Textile)

Job Description: -

The Project Executive will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of garment production projects, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements, company SOPs, and international standards. This role involves managing product development, pre-production, and production activities while driving efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery. The Project Executive will also provide leadership to the production team, manage supply chain operations, and foster innovation to enhance overall organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Project Management

  • Monitor daily follow-ups on product development, approvals, and pre-production activities to ensure timely readiness before planned production dates.
  • Oversee day-to-day production output, efficiency, and on-time delivery within approved budgets and cost controls.
  • Provide hands-on support in production management when required.
  • Ensure smooth execution of all project operations in a cost-effective and quality-focused manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement in production processes, systems, and best practices.

2. Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure the factory maintains compliance with buyer requirements and industry regulations.
  • Oversee adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ISO standards across the organization.
  • Support legal and regulatory compliance in all operational processes.

3. Fabric & Accessories Evaluation

  • Assess and distinguish different types of fabrics and accessories based on characteristics, suitability, and application in apparel manufacturing.
  • Ensure correct utilization of fabrics and trims as per product specifications.

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor, train, and supervise production teams to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Manage workforce planning, performance evaluation, upskilling, and labour relations.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

5. Supply Chain & Materials Management

  • Oversee procurement strategies, vendor relations, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Monitor engineering standards for quoting, purchasing, and material management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-efficient availability of raw materials.

6. Strategic Planning & Innovation

  • Develop and implement mid to long-term strategies for production planning, including improvements in factory layout, workflow, equipment acquisition, and automation.
  • Update best practices and promote innovation in operational processes.

7. Customer & Stakeholder Relations

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring proactive and reactive communication to resolve queries, requests, and issues efficiently.
  • Act as a point of escalation for customer concerns related to manufacturing and production.

8. Financial & Budget Monitoring

  • Monitor daily expenses and ensure alignment with allocated budgets.
  • Drive cost-efficiency across production and supply chain activities.

9. Other Responsibilities

  • Ensure all reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Handle any additional tasks assigned by the Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
