Project Finance Associate (Banking)

Our well-known banking client is seeking a Senior Credit Allocation Associate to be part of the Credit Allocation Department in Istanbul. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating credit proposals within the framework of the bank's credit policies, preparing and presenting them to senior management, and following up on the allocation process. You will also contribute to the assessment of investment projects and the financing of these projects . We are looking for a team member who can conduct financial analyses for both new companies seeking credit and our existing clients.

**The unit is also involved in project finance processes; therefore, candidates with project finance experience will be prioritized**

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and prepare credit proposals in line with the bank's credit policies, present them to senior management, and follow up on the credit allocation process.
• Assess investment projects and contribute to the financing and lending processes for these projects.
• Conduct financial analysis for both new firms seeking credit and existing clients with credit lines.
• Work closely with other departments and teams to ensure the successful completion of credit-related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year program, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or Engineering.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in evaluating investment projects and lending within project financing processes.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork-oriented, and possessing strong analytical thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Banking experience.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
