Project Finance Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Finance Specialist is expected to work in the Project Department of Arkas Holding Port and Terminal Services Group located in Etiler/Istanbul.

• End to end feasibility studies of all strategic investments (new business area, greenfield, brownfield or capex decisions for the existing operations) by working on a project-based approach
• Building standard financial valuation models, customizing them for each specific business case and reporting in a feasibility business case report for top management
• Conducting studies with financial institutions regarding investment
• Actively involved in all phases of the due diligence process related to project financing
• Following up projected financial models and reporting deviations
• Performing scenario and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making
• Creating presentations and ad hoc group wide financial analysis
• Making postmortem analysis of strategic investments, carrying out analysis and studies that will improve investment management processes within Arkas Holding Port and Terminal Services Group

QUALIFICATIONS

• MS / BS Degree in Business Administration, Industrial / Management Engineering, Finance or Economics
• Experienced in managing core stages of project financing over 3–4 years in relevant roles
• Hands-on involvement in financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation
• Well-developed abilities in planning, coordination, reporting and presentation skills (knowledge of Power BI & Canva would be an asset)
• Capable of handling simultaneous workstreams efficiently, with a strong balance of autonomous initiative and team collaboration
• Effectively communicates in English in both professional writing and verbal interactions.
• Highly skilled in MS Office Applications (knowledge of Excel VBA would be an asset, though not essential)
