Project Head (Retail Background)

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement a roadmap for expansion of Maxivision’s retail eye care network (hospitals, vision centers, and optical retail units).
• Conduct market feasibility studies, site identification, and location finalization in coordination with business and finance teams.
• Design project timelines, budgets, and resource plans for each new project.

2. Project Management

• Lead cross-functional teams (operations, medical, finance, marketing, HR, and procurement) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee construction, equipment installation, licensing, and pre-opening readiness for new centers.
• Track project progress through regular reviews and MIS reports; ensure milestones are achieved within time and budget.

3. Operational Excellence

• Develop and implement SOPs for new units to ensure uniform quality and patient experience.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes for patient flow, optical sales, and clinical operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage vendor selection, contracts, and negotiations for equipment, construction, and services.
• Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies for compliance and approvals.
• Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

5. Financial Accountability

• Prepare and monitor project budgets; ensure cost optimization and ROI on new investments.
• Analyze project performance metrics and recommend corrective actions when required.

6. Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and support staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: MBA / PGDM in Healthcare Management, Operations, or Project Management; or Bachelor’s in Engineering / Architecture with healthcare experience.
• Experience: 10–15 years of experience in project management within healthcare, retail, or hospital expansion domains.
• Proven track record in multi-location project rollouts, preferably in eye care, diagnostics, or hospital chains.
• Strong understanding of healthcare infrastructure, equipment planning, and regulatory requirements.
