Job Summary:
The Project Management & Business Development Executive plays a dual role — managing event and exhibition projects from concept to completion, while driving business growth through client acquisition and relationship management. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and client-servicing skills, with the ability to coordinate between internal teams (design, production, logistics) and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Manage event and exhibition projects from proposal to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients to understand project objectives, design requirements, and branding expectations.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (Design, Production, Procurement) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and vendor deliverables to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct on-site supervision during setup and dismantling phases when required.
Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities in exhibitions, events, retail displays, and brand activation projects.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential leads.
- Work with management to develop strategies for expanding market reach and improving client engagement.
Client Servicing & Communication
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project life cycle.
- Provide timely updates, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Gather feedback post-event to improve service quality and identify future opportunities.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate project records, costing reports, and documentation.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and business development updates for management.
- Support marketing and promotional activities, including participation in trade shows or networking events.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, event management, or business development (preferably in exhibitions or creative agencies).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong project coordination, planning, and client management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management tools.
- Knowledge of design or production processes in events/exhibitions is an added advantage.
- Fluent in English.
