Project Management Coordinator

in Consulting Engineers (ACE) is currently seeking a Project Management Coordinator (Assistant Project Manager) to join our dynamic team in Egypt.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Administration & Coordination
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Project Manager
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, workshops, and site visits
  • Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes of meetings, and circulate action items
  • Follow up on action items and report status to the Project Manager
  • Schedule & Progress Monitoring Support
  • Assist in tracking project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Maintain progress trackers and dashboards
  • Support preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc progress reports
  • Identify and escalate delays or risks impacting project timelines
  • Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Support formal communication between the Project Manager, clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Ensure correspondence is issued through approved contractual channels
  • Maintain updated project directories and communication matrices
  • Quality, Risk & Compliance Support
  • Assist in maintaining the Project Quality Plan and project procedures
  • Support updates to risk registers and issue logs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and client requirements
  • Design & Technical Coordination Support

Additional Responsibilities/Remarks:

  • Project Close-Out Support
  • Assist in preparation of project close-out reports
  • Support compilation and archiving of final project documents
  • Assist in handover documentation and lessons learned reports

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or related field
  • Must be an Architect with relevant project coordination experience
  • Experience 6+ years at least 4 years in relevant positions
  • 2+ years of experience working in the UAE.
  • A PMP certification is preferred
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
