Position Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing and closing solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects within scope, budget and schedule, while ensuring adherence to quality, safety and regulatory requirements. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise and stakeholder management to deliver projects that meet client expectations and business objectives.
The company also executes international projects, hence the candidate should be flexible and willing to travel or be deputed abroad as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution

Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources and risk management.

Oversee execution to ensure timely delivery in line with contractual obligations.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams for seamless integration.
Performance Metrics & KPIs

Project Completion Timeline:
Ensure percentage of projects completed on time within agreed scope and schedule.

Budget Adherence:
Monitor and control project costs, tracking variance between budgeted and actual expenses.

Resource Utilization Efficiency:
Optimize allocation and usage of manpower, equipment and materials.

Quality Compliance Rate:
Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed specified quality standards.

Health and Safety Incidents:
Minimize incidents by enforcing HSE standards on project sites.

Client Satisfaction Score:
Maintain high client satisfaction on communication, delivery and quality.

Vendor Development:
Identify, qualify and onboard reliable vendors to ensure supply chain resilience.

Project Documentation Accuracy:
Maintain accurate and complete records (contracts, permits, designs, compliance documents).

Project Execution Completion Target:
Align project completion targets with revenue realization goals.
Risk & Issue Management

Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.

Resolve conflicts, bottlenecks and unforeseen challenges to maintain project progress.
Team & Stakeholder Management

Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

Liaise with clients, contractors, government bodies and internal departments to ensure smooth execution.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, industry codes and company policies.

Coordinate inspections, approvals and certifications as per legal requirements.
Continuous Improvement

Analyze project performance data to identify areas for process improvement.

Implement best practices in solar EPC project management.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in project management, with at least
2 years
in Solar EPC.

Proven experience in managing large-scale
Solar Ground-mounted projects in the 50–100 MW
range, from planning through to successful commissioning.

Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, EPC workflows and relevant regulations.

Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
-
Willingness to travel and work on international assignments as required.
