Position SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing property and space development projects from conception through completion. This role requires coordination of multiple stakeholders, adherence to project timelines and budgets, and ensuring delivery of high-quality commercial real estate development outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & ExecutionLead end-to-end project management for property development and space planning initiatives
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed
Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and permitting requirements
Stakeholder ManagementServe as primary point of contact for clients, investors, and internal teams
Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates
Manage vendor relationships and contractor performance
Coordinate with leasing teams, property management, and other JLL service lines
Financial & Risk ManagementTrack project budgets and financial performance
Process invoices and change orders
Identify and mitigate project risks
Prepare financial reports and variance analysis
Quality Assurance & DeliveryConduct regular site inspections and quality control reviews
Ensure projects meet design specifications and client requirements
Manage project closeout activities and documentation
Facilitate smooth handover to operations teams
Required QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
3-5 years of project management experience in commercial real estate or construction
PMP certification preferred
Technical SkillsProficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
Knowledge of construction processes and building systems
Understanding of commercial real estate development lifecycle
Experience with CAD software and space planning tools
Core CompetenciesStrong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred QualificationsLEED accreditation
Experience with JLL systems and processes
Previous client-facing role experience
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
