Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with hotel industry experience to lead and oversee hotel construction, renovation, or refurbishment projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest impact minimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, initiate, and manage hotel development, renovation, or refurbishment projects
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including contractors, architects, designers, engineers, and hotel operations staff
  • Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, local building codes, and health & safety regulations
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, schedules, and cost tracking
  • Oversee procurement of materials and vendor contracts in coordination with procurement and legal teams
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews throughout all project phases
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the project team
  • Coordinate project handover and ensure seamless transition to hotel operations without disrupting guest services
  • Lead post-project evaluation and ensure all close-out documentation is completed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of project management experience, with at least 10 years in hotel construction, renovation, or fit-out projects
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest experience considerations during projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Excel)
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong budgeting and cost control capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously
