Project Manager

Job Description:

To lead and manage the implementation of the Anticipatory Actions (AA) project focused on ensuring education continuity in flood-prone areas. The role ensures effective coordination with stakeholders, timely execution of activities, and achievement of project goals related to risk mitigation, school safety, and community preparedness.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, implementation, and overall coordination of AA project activities in targeted districts.
• Supervise field teams (Field Coordinators, Social Mobilizers, Field Engineer) and ensure quality delivery of interventions.
• Liaise with DDMAs, Education Department, and other stakeholders for project integration and partnership.
• Ensure development and rollout of school-level readiness/evacuation plans.
• Oversee implementation of teacher training modules on DRR, GBV, MHPSS, and referral pathways.
• Coordinate mapping and stakeholder identification exercises in Sindh and Punjab.
• Ensure timely retrofitting of WASH facilities and flood-mitigation infrastructure in schools.
• Facilitate the design and activation of early warning mechanisms at school and community level.
• Prepare progress reports, budgets, and documentation for donor and internal reporting.

Job Requirements:

• Master preferably in sociology or any discipline of social sciences.
• Comprehensive knowledge of program management in Sindh Province.
• Excellent typing and analytical skills
• Strong analytical, communication and report writing skills in English;
• 3 Years (At least 3 years of work experience in social/development sector)
• The position is only open for residents of Sindh and preference will be given to local candidates
