We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead housing buildings projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, particularly in the housing sector. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed within budget, on time, and meets quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
  • Monitor and control project expenses, providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary project team, providing guidance, motivation, and direction.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Implement risk management plans and monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and codes.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and address any deviations from the project specifications.
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Proactively identify potential delays and implement strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to review and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any disputes that may arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Architect.
  • 20 years of overall experience of which 10+ as a Project Manager in housing construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software tools.
  • PMP certification is an advantage.
