ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate hand off Meeting with the Estimating Department at the start of every project.
- Log and monitor all Change Order requests.
- Manage all specified submittals and samples.
- Plan, organize and supervise essential field positions for company projects.
- Ensure compliance with all design and material specifications.
- Perform proper material takeoff and field measurement.
- Generate MRF's prior to start of manufacturing.
- Coordinate with field personnel that installation is consistent with schedule.
- Ensure quality control of work both in manufacturing and job site.
- Manage the coordination of daily construction activity.
- Document and communicate significant events and change orders.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree/ desirable or relevant work experience in Project Management will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in Project Management for a Millwork/Cabinet manufacturing company preferred.
- Must be organized and able to document and retrieve critical information at a moment's notice.
- Have knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
- Read and understand blueprints and specs.
- Develop and maintain job costs, project budget and schedules.
- Strong time management skills and be comfortable with a deadline driven schedule.
- Team-oriented; builds cross-organizational consensus and cooperation.
- Proven leadership ability with high professional and ethical standards.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient PC skills
