Role Overview
The Highway Project Manager will be responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of highway construction projects. This includes managing project schedules, budgets, contractors, consultants, quality, safety, and ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, technical expertise, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects within time and cost.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with client requirements and organizational objectives.
- Oversee day‑to‑day execution of highway construction activities.
2. Technical & Engineering Oversight
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, DPRs, BOQs, and design reports.
- Provide technical guidance to site engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with IRC, MORTH, and relevant national/international standards.
3. Budget & Cost Management
- Prepare project budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Track cost variations, approve invoices, and implement cost‑control measures.
- Coordinate price negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Conduct progress review meetings with stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and ensure timely project communication.
5. Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and testing protocols.
- Implement safety plans and ensure compliance with safety regulations at site.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
6. Risk & Issue Management
- Identify project-level risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve site issues related to contractors, materials, approvals, and labor.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain progress reports, MIS updates, DPRs, and monthly project reports.
- Ensure all documentation for approvals, quality records, and billing is maintained accurately.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- M.Tech in Transportation / Construction Management (preferred)
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in highway/road infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing EPC/PMC national highway or state highway projects.
- Strong exposure to construction supervision, project planning, and contract management.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
