Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and manage projects related to plant upgrades, expansions, maintenance shutdowns, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Govt Authorities requirements, including submission of permits, reports, operational data, environmental compliance documentation, and inspections.
  • Liaise directly with Govt Authorities and regulatory departments for project coordination, facility audits, waste stream approvals, and data reporting.
  • Develop detailed project execution plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and cost control.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare status reports, forecasts, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, maintenance, procurement, HSE, and external vendors/contractors.
  • Ensure that project activities adhere to safety protocols, waste management regulations, and environmental standards (ISO 14001, local EAD guidelines).
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and lead resolution of delays, cost overruns, or technical challenges.
  • Oversee procurement and logistics of materials and equipment required for project execution.
  • Manage documentation, compliance records, and contract administration for assigned projects.
  • Lead regular review meetings and ensure effective communication among cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver training and technical support to teams on project tools, documentation, and Tadweer updates.

_ Requirements_

  • 5–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in waste management, incineration plants, or environmental projects.
  • Strong background in managing multidisciplinary projects involving engineering, construction, operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Project Management, or related field as per Govt Authorities Contractual requirements.
  • Strong project planning, execution, and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE waste management regulations, especially those related to hazardous/medical waste.
  • Experience in regulatory communication, including permit applications and compliance submissions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project performance under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
