Project Manager

Project Manager & Production Manager– Interior & Fit-Out

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Interior & Fit-Out to lead and deliver interior construction and fit-out projects from concept through completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and close-out of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage interior and fit-out projects from design coordination to final handover
  • Develop project schedules, work programs, and execution plans
  • Coordinate with designers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
  • Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and material submittals

Cost & Commercial Management

  • Prepare and control project budgets and cash flow
  • Manage variations, claims, and change orders
  • Monitor procurement and subcontractor costs
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets

Site Management & Coordination

  • Oversee site activities and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate MEP, civil, joinery, finishes, and specialist trades
  • Conduct site meetings and prepare progress reports
  • Resolve site issues and technical challenges

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies
  • Implement quality control procedures and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with local authority and client requirements

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and consultants
  • Provide regular project updates and reports
  • Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction

Project Close-Out

  • Manage snagging, testing, and commissioning
  • Ensure timely handover of completed projects
  • Coordinate as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction project management
  • Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination
  • Experience managing commercial, residential, hospitality, or retail fit-out projects
  • PMP or similar certification is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management abilities
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera and MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Work Conditions

  • Full-time, site-based with office coordination
  • May require extended hours to meet project deadlines
