Role Overview
Design Centric is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Project Manager / Account Manager to manage end-to-end design projects while building strong, long-term client relationships. This role sits at the intersection of client communication, design project management, and account growth, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high creative standard. The ideal candidate understands design workflows, can translate client requirements into clear project plans, and proactively identifies opportunities to upsell and expand accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and manage day-to-day communication
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Gather, understand, and document client requirements and business objectives
- Translate client needs into clear design briefs, project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Manage end-to-end design projects from kickoff to final delivery
- Coordinate with internal design, UX/UI, and development teams to ensure smooth execution
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards
- Track project progress and proactively identify and resolve risks, delays, and blockers
- Ensure any new or extra requests are discussed, approved, and documented before execution
- Review design outputs to ensure alignment with client expectations and brand guidelines
- Consolidate and communicate client feedback clearly to design teams
- Lead client meetings, project reviews, and status update calls
- Provide regular project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding client accounts
- Support proposal creation, estimates, and statements of work (SOWs)
- Ensure proper documentation of decisions, approvals, and project learnings
- Collaborate with leadership to improve project delivery processes and client satisfaction
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Account Manager, or similar role in a design, creative, or digital agency.
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
- Solid understanding of design project management and creative workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously.
- Experience with account management, upselling, and revenue growth.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate creative concepts into structured plans and timelines.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Basic understanding of development workflows (web/mobile).
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and account reports.
