Agilysis is seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager with a strong background in delivering HR, Payroll, Finance, or similar ERP system implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end project execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of Workday or similar enterprise system initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution

Lead full lifecycle implementation, upgrade, or enhancement projects for Workday or similar HRIS / ERP platforms.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.

Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and change management activities.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Stakeholder & Client Management

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and third-party vendors.

Provide regular executive-level updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Drive decision-making and conflict resolution across teams.
Functional & Technical Coordination

Work closely with Workday functional leads across HCM, Payroll, Finance, Integrations, and Reporting modules.

Coordinate testing phases including SIT, UAT, and production deployment.

Support data migration, integration strategy, and release management processes.

Ensure adherence to best practices, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance

Identify opportunities to optimize system processes and improve operational efficiency.

Establish project management standards, documentation templates, and delivery frameworks.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned reviews.
Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in Workday or similar HR, Payroll, Finance, or ERP systems.

Proven experience delivering enterprise software implementations or transformations.

Strong understanding of HRIS, Payroll, or Financial systems.

Experience managing cross-functional and global teams.

Strong risk management and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
