Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in the
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
domain. This role is focused on operational project oversight rather than technical IT delivery. The Project Manager will ensure that RCM projects, client implementations, process transitions, and operational initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
This individual will act as the bridge between Operations, Clients, Leadership, and Technology teams to ensure execution excellence and deadline adherence.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution -Must

Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Monitor progress across multiple RCM projects (AR, Denials, Coding, Eligibility, Prior Auth, Payment Posting, etc.).

Ensure all projects are delivered on or before deadlines.
-
Track dependencies and proactively address bottlenecks.
2. RCM Domain Oversight -Must

Understand end-to-end RCM workflows:

Patient Access
-
Charge Entry
-
Coding
-
Claims Submission
-
AR Follow-up
-
Denials Management
-
Payment Posting
-
Underpayment Analysis
-
Identify operational gaps impacting revenue or timelines.
-
Work closely with operations managers to ensure KPIs are met.
3. Stakeholder Coordination - Must

Conduct regular status meetings with:
-
Operations Teams
-
Client Stakeholders
-
Internal Leadership
-
Provide structured weekly and monthly progress reports.

Escalate risks and issues in a timely manner.
4. Deadline & KPI Management - Must
-
Track SLAs, TAT, Productivity, and Quality metrics.
-
Ensure implementation milestones are aligned with contractual commitments.

Maintain risk logs and mitigation plans.
5. Process Improvement – Nice to have
-
Identify inefficiencies in RCM workflows.
-
Suggest automation or optimization opportunities.
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Documentation & Governance - Must
-
Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and documentation.
-
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and client requirements.
-
Support audit readiness where applicable.
Required Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in RCM operations or RCM project management.

Strong understanding of US Healthcare billing processes.
-
Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification (optional but preferred).
-
Experience working with EMR/PM systems (Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, etc.).

Experience in transition or implementation projects.

Knowledge of automation initiatives in RCM.
