Project Manager

Job Overview
The Project Manager oversees and coordinates welding projects from bid through installation. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, ensuring quality and compliance, and effectively communicating with clients and internal teams. The Project Manager ensures that projects remain on schedule and within budget, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Operation hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Overtime when needed and approved.

PAY: $32.00 - $45.00 DOE.

Duties

  • Manage welding projects from bidding phase to final installation, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and cost objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
  • Oversee site preparation, fabrication, and installation phases to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
  • Monitor progress and proactively address any issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the welding team and other departments to optimize workflow and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a welding, construction, or fabrication environment.
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients effectively.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • PMP or equivalent certification (a plus).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
