Project Manager

Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dedicated web development agency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software delivery, demonstrating the ability to lead tight-knit, cross-functional team in building complex, custom web applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring project success through rigorous cycle planning, precise requirement gathering, and seamless team coordination from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate high-level client visions into detailed, actionable project plans. Write crystal-clear user stories, precise Acceptance Criteria (AC), and ensure a strict "Definition of Ready" is met before assigning tasks to the engineering team.
• Lead weekly development cycles and agile rituals (daily stand-ups, planning). Enforce project timelines and ensure smooth, standardized handoffs between development and QA teams to maintain delivery momentum.
• Effectively allocate tasks across the team, carefully balancing workloads to minimize context-switching while accounting for essential technical duties like code reviews and project setup.
• Act as the primary bridge between clients and the internal team. Provide regular, transparent updates on project progress, risks, and milestones using real-time communication tools (e.g., Discord).
• Work closely with dedicated QA specialists to ensure all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards. Ensure test plans are aligned with documented requirements early in the project lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive project tracking within our core systems (ClickUp). Ensure project metadata, status reports, and post-project evaluations are kept up to date to support continuous improvement.
• Monitor key delivery metrics (such as cycle completion rates and sprint velocity) and refine project management processes to maximize team efficiency, predictability, and product stability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in technical project management or product ownership, preferably within a web development agency or SaaS environment managing medium-to-complex application lifecycles.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and modern web architecture (APIs, CI/CD pipelines, staging/live environments).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write unambiguous technical requirements that leave no room for guesswork.
• Hands-on experience with modern project management and collaboration tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Discord, Figma, GitHub).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a firm ability to prioritize work, manage scope creep, and keep cross-functional teams aligned.
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent agile certifications are highly desirable.

Pay: Rs130,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
