Since 1996, Living Innovations has partnered with thousands of families across New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island. We support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in leading fulfilling lives through innovative, community-based programming.
We are seeking a Project Manager who bridges the gap between high-level strategy and daily operations. Unlike many PM roles that focus on IT infrastructure, our priority is finding a business professional who thrives in the nuanced world of healthcare and human services. You will be the architect of change, ensuring our growth and process improvements are met with enthusiasm and clarity by our dedicated staff.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management & Adoption: Lead the "people side" of organizational changes. You will develop strategies to ensure new processes and regional programs are embraced, minimizing resistance and maximizing long-term sustainability.
Operational Excellence: Manage a portfolio of business projects, from standardizing service delivery across state lines to optimizing internal workflows.
Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between executive leadership and regional operations. You will translate complex strategic goals into actionable, clear "roadmaps" for our teams.
Methodology Execution: Apply Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid frameworks to guide multi-functional business teams from initial requirements through to full operational rollout.
Performance Analysis: Use strong analytical skills to prioritize competing demands and measure the success of implemented changes against organizational KPIs.
Candidate Requirements
Background: Proven experience in Business Project Management or Organizational Development. While we value technical literacy, this is a business-centric role, not an IT position.
Change Management Expertise: Deep understanding of how to move people through transitions. Experience in healthcare, social services, or highly regulated environments is a major plus.
Location: You must reside in Southern Maine, Southern New Hampshire, or the Coastal Massachusetts area.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to various service locations across Maine, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island as needed to engage with local teams and oversee project implementation.
Required Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven success as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, and/or Product Owner on moderately complex projects.
Methodology: Solid understanding of Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) approaches is required.
Certifications: PMP, CAPM, CSM, or equivalent certification is preferred.
Compliance: A valid state-issued driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance, registration, and inspection.
