Job Summary:
The Project Management Office is the information hub for projects and programs within the portfolio and involves planning, developing, coordinating, collaborating, tracking, reporting, quality control, information management, financial tracking, risk/issue tracking, change control, support and knowledge management. It’s a job learning from experience. The Project Management Office will add value through developing a complete infrastructure of a new initiative and hands it over to normal business after planning, implementing, testing, running, learning, analyzing and plugging the gaps and documenting the SOPs.
Job Responsibilities

End-End Project management that drives high-impact initiatives, taking ownership of the full project lifecycle, from planning to execution, budgeting, and stakeholder reporting.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure projects meet strategic goals within scope and cost.

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.

Conceive the requirements of projects from the initiating party and completing the requirements to plan resources for development and execution.

Monitor project progress, ensuring delivery on time, within scope while managing budget and resources.

Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing status updates and managing expectations while taking care of all stakeholder communication and coordination.

Identify and mitigate Project risks, resolving issues between collaborators.

Coordinate with Compliance, Risk functions to understanding the possibilities of execution and has no regulatory constraints in coordination with the Head/Deputy Head PMO

Get approvals from management of the plan including required resources (HR and financial), timelines and others in coordination with the Head/Deputy Head PMO

Develop effective understanding and create coherence between both those who initiated a project and other functions who are responsible for developing and executing the project.

Undertake/Supervise QA, SIT, BA, UAT phases seamlessly.

Keep the Head/Deputy Head of PMO updated with the progress of project development, hiccups, constraints on regular basis.

Ensure the projects are delivered within stipulated timelines and assigned resources with required results.

Hand-over completed projects to the stakeholders according to the PMO TORs and Framework.

Produce/devise all required documentation of the project from initiation till the end.

Explore, contact, establish agreement and manage the support services, hardware, software or consultation required for project development from all external parties whenever required under guidelines and SOPs of the bank.

During the normal course of business, when projects are not assigned. Assisting the Head/Deputy PMO Head in exploring the gaps and planning improvements in PMO processes, SOPs, systems, workflows, documentation, manuals, guidelines, practices adding value to the business from different dimensions.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project management, Technology Or Business Management.

4-5 years of Project/Program/PMO experience preferably in Banking, Fintech or related business industry

PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is desirable.

Hands-on experience with the implementation of HRMS and Regulatory initiatives in the Banking industry will be an asset.
