Project Manager Key Responsibilities / Task List
1. Define Project Scope, Deliverables & Timeline
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define the project scope and objectives.
- Identify key deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
- Ensure alignment of requirements with client/organizational expectations.
- Establish realistic timelines and a phase-wise roadmap.
2. Create & Manage Detailed Project Plans
- Develop comprehensive project plans covering tasks, milestones, resources, and dependencies.
- Continuously update plans to reflect changes, risks, and adjustments.
- Ensure alignment of plans with overall scope, budget, and timelines.
3. Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams
- Facilitate seamless communication across teams (design, construction, finance, legal, etc.).
- Resolve conflicts or misalignments between departments.
- Clearly define roles and responsibilities to ensure accountability and timely execution.
4. Track Budgets, Fund Utilization & Cost Overruns
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
- Ensure effective utilization of funds as per approved budgets.
- Identify and address cost overruns, proposing corrective financial measures.
5. Monitor Project Progress & Ensure On-Ground Quality
- Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews.
- Verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Detect delays or issues early and implement corrective measures.
6. Risk Identification & Contingency Planning
- Identify potential risks (delays, shortages, regulatory issues).
- Develop risk mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Implement proactive measures to safeguard timelines and outcomes.
7. Document & Report Project Status
- Maintain structured documentation of project activities, approvals, and changes.
- Share regular status updates, challenges, and progress reports with stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency and timely communication of critical project information.
8. Close Project & Capture Learnings
- Confirm completion of all deliverables and project closure as per agreed terms.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and team members.
- Document learnings, best practices, and improvement areas for future projects.
- Handover post-project documents (e.g., maintenance guides, warranty information).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
