The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing activities related to waterproofing projects, ensuring all work meets quality, budget, and safety standards.
Key Tasks:
- Lead and oversee the execution of the waterproofing project from start to finish.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage project risks and prepare mitigation strategies.
- Lead project team meetings and daily site briefings.
- Approve procurement requests and review BOQs.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve conflicts.
- Handle project-related legal and compliance documentation.
- Ensure timely delivery of project phases and milestones.
- Coordinate inspections with authorities and clients.
- Review and validate technical submittals and shop drawings.
- Supervise materials delivery and use on-site.
- Track productivity and suggest improvements.
- Support change management processes and variation orders.
- Ensure proper documentation and project handover.
- Manage health and safety protocols on site.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and staff.
- Perform any additional duties as requested by the line manager.
QA/QC
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management.
- To undertake any additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager, in a manner commensurate with the position.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent.
- Civil engineering background.
- Knowledge of financial reporting.
- 15+ years of experience.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Computer Skills.
- Business development and construction management knowledge.
Pay: BD1,500.000 - BD2,000.000 per month
