Construction Project Manager – Interior Construction (Drywall / Carpentry)

$100,000 – $145,000 + Bonus | Full-Time | Malta, NY | On-Site + Local Travel

Lead construction projects from kickoff to closeout with real ownership - no micromanagement, strong pipeline, and clear path to senior leadership.

️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through completion
• Oversee interior scopes including drywall, framing, and finish carpentry
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams across active job sites
• Build and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
• Track budgets, monitor costs, and maintain accurate financial projections
• Review drawings/specs to ensure quality and compliance
• Handle change orders, scope adjustments, and documentation
• Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders
• Ensure materials, equipment, and labor are aligned with project timelines
• Enforce safety standards and quality control across all phases

✅ What You Need

• Experience managing commercial construction projects (interior trades preferred)
• Strong background in drywall, carpentry, or interior build-outs
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once without things slipping
• Solid understanding of job costing, scheduling, and budgeting
• Comfortable working with subcontractors, GCs, and design teams
• Proficiency with construction/project management software

Education / Background

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• OR equivalent hands-on experience in construction/project leadership

Work Setup

• Monday–Friday schedule
• Primarily on-site with ~25% local travel to job sites
