Project Manager / Construction Manager
To plan, manage, supervise, and successfully deliver construction projects in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, quality standards, safety regulations, contractual requirements, and company objectives while ensuring timely completion within the approved budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead and manage all construction activities from mobilization to project handover.
- Prepare and monitor project execution plans, construction schedules, manpower deployment, and resource allocation.
- Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and local authority regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives for smooth project execution.
- Review project progress regularly and implement corrective actions where required.
- Monitor site productivity and ensure efficient utilization of labor, materials, equipment, and machinery.
Site Management
- Supervise site engineers, foremen, supervisors, subcontractors, and supporting staff.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, architectural, MEP, and finishing activities.
- Resolve technical and operational issues arising during construction activities.
- Maintain site discipline, operational efficiency, and professional work standards.
Cost Control & Budget Management
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Control wastage of materials and optimize project resources.
- Review subcontractor bills, material consumption, and procurement requirements.
- Assist commercial and procurement departments in evaluating quotations and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure timely certification and submission of progress claims and variations.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure full compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company safety policies, and project safety plans.
- Promote safe working practices and conduct regular safety reviews with the HSE team.
- Ensure all incidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions are reported and corrective actions implemented immediately.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all construction activities comply with QA/QC procedures and approved inspection requirements.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities.
- Ensure timely closure of NCRs, site observations, and corrective actions.
- Monitor material approvals, shop drawings, method statements, and testing requirements.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
- Attend client, consultant, and internal coordination meetings.
- Report project status, risks, delays, and mitigation plans to management.
- Maintain proper project documentation and records.
Project Completion & Handover
- Ensure successful testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final handover of projects.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of as-built drawings, warranties, manuals, and project closeout documents.
- Ensure completion of all contractual obligations before project closure.
Accountability
The Project Manager / Construction Manager shall be accountable for:
- Successful completion of projects within approved timelines and budgets.
- Overall site operations, manpower productivity, and resource management.
- Compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordination between all project stakeholders.
- Timely reporting and issue escalation to management.
- Maintaining client satisfaction and company reputation.
Authority
- Allocate manpower and site resources as per project requirements.
- Coordinate directly with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
- Recommend subcontractor appointments and procurement requirements.
- Stop unsafe work practices or non-compliant activities on site.
- Approve day-to-day construction activities within delegated authority limits.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Additional certifications in Project Management will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of construction experience in the UAE/GCC.
- Proven experience managing high-rise, villa, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, authority approvals, and project execution standards.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project planning and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site coordination.
- Strong understanding of contracts, BOQ, drawings, and specifications.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera/MS Project, and construction reporting systems.
Working Conditions
- Site-based role requiring regular project site supervision.
- Working hours as per UAE Labour Law and project operational requirements.
- May require extended hours depending on project deadlines and operational needs.

Pay: AED22,000.00 - AED28,000.00 per month
