POSITION DESCRIPTION

The ECRAIL Project Manager will lead the implementation of a five-month, multi-city workforce development initiative designed to advance U.S. economic competitiveness and strategic interests in Egypt. The project equips emerging technology and policy leaders with advanced workplace English, professional soft skills, and applied artificial intelligence (AI) literacy, while fostering alignment with American business ethics and governance norms.

The Project Manager will provide end-to-end leadership for planning, staffing, partner coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall management and operational oversight for all project activities, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with approved work plans and targets.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, logistics, and instructional delivery across three cities.
  • Supervise and mentor the project staff, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and workflow efficiency.
  • Serve as primary point of contact with internal Amideast units, instructors, vendors, and external partners supporting instruction, AI content, and career engagement activities.
  • Oversee coordination of CAN activities with employers, speakers, mentors, and industry partners.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and on boarding processes to ensure transparent, merit-based selection of 240 participants.
  • Monitor participant attendance, engagement, and retention, addressing risks proactively.
  • Track program progress against targets, milestones, and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent application of M&E tools, data collection, and documentation across locations.
  • Lead regular reviews of implementation quality and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage the project budget in coordination with finance staff, ensuring appropriate allocation, timely spending, and compliance with donor and Amideast policies.
  • Review financial reports, invoices, and IC contracts related to the project.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and timely narrative and data reports for internal leadership and donors.
  • Maintain well-organized project files, including work plans, participant records, financial documents, and reports.

Qualifications

  • 10+Years experience is a must
  • TOEIC score of 900 or equivalent.
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills.
  • Effective project management skills.
