Education Qualification:

B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Diploma.

The Project Manager (Electrical) is responsible for planning, executing, and completing electrical engineering projects within scope, budget, and schedule. This role involves managing project teams, coordinating with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and maintaining safety and quality requirements throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical installations and systems.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage and monitor all project phases from design to commissioning.
• Technical Oversight
• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes (IEC, NEC, BS, or local standards).
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Procurement & Resource Management
• Estimate material, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Oversee site resources and manpower allocation.
• Budget Planning & Cost Control
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
• Prepare progress reports, financial forecasts, and cost control documentation.
• Quality & Safety Management
• Ensure all electrical works comply with safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective measures when required.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
• Stakeholder Communication
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Manage change orders and contractual documentation.
• Client Billing & Financial Management
• Prepare and submit client bills/invoices in accordance with project progress and contractual terms.
• Coordinate with the accounts/finance department for timely submission, verification, and follow-up on payments.
• Track project cash flow, work progress, and billing status to ensure financial health of the project.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma.

• Experience:
• 5–8 years of experience in managing electrical projects (construction, industrial, power distribution, or automation).
• Proven track record in handling multiple projects from concept to completion.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of electrical systems (HV/LV, power distribution, lighting, control panels, etc.)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and project management tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Note: Should be able to travel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
