Main Purpose of the Position
A Project Manager is responsible for delivering small to large-sized projects or a portfolio of medium-to-large complexity projects and supervising a project team. The role involves providing effective engineering and end-to-end execution for security integration and civil scope of work, which includes design, build, HS&E, and quality assurance for timely delivery and client handover. A Technical Project Manager delivers significant parts of a program as part of a project team. The Project Manager must be experienced in technical design, installation, and commissioning, as well as resource and subcontractor management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities

Ensuring successful project delivery within the given timescale and budget, meeting all customer requirements.

Responsibility for the design development and hands-on installation of assigned projects in accordance with technical design requirements.

Managing all projects according to the company's Project Management Methodology. ∙ Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, managing expectations and ensuring clear, consistent communication. Facilitate regular progress meetings with all key stakeholders.

Executing on-site an integrated security solution, which may include ACS, CCTV, Intruder, PAVA, Gate Automation, Fire Alarm, Fire suppression and ANPR linked over a fiber network infrastructure.

Planning, scheduling, tracking, analyzing, and reporting to the Programmer Manager with limited supervision.

Supervising and monitoring subcontractors' construction and installation performance, ensuring work is completed on time and taking corrective actions as needed for safety, quality, planning, and scheduling.

Actively track all project-related costs to ensure the project remains on or under budget. Prepare regular financial forecasts and reports on project profitability for the Programmer Manager.

Developing and participating in the site QA plan to ensure subcontractors maintain the highest standards.

Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with contractual obligations and that the project scope is clearly defined and controlled.

Monitoring change control and ensuring change requests are submitted and followed correctly.

Identifying risks and issues early and including them in the risk and issue log while highlighting any potential impact.

Developing a detailed work schedule and highlighting critical resource requirements to the Programmer Manager.

Oversee the procurement of equipment and materials, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of all necessary components.

Analyzing complex issues and coordinating problem resolution with limited supervision. ∙ Ensuring correct permits, such as a PTW (Permit to Work), are in place before work begins. ∙ Investigating damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites and ensuring proper procedures are followed.

Developing, executing, and maintaining technical submissions, including HSE and Method Statements.

Providing project-related reports to line management upon request.

Communicating effectively with the PM to anticipate and advise on needs. ∙ Deputizing for project team colleagues or line management when necessary. ∙ Ensuring a suitable hand-over and cover for workload during planned absences. ∙ Manage the formal project closure process, including compiling final documentation,

securing client sign-off, and conducting a "lessons learned" session to identify areas for future improvement.
Qualifications

A thorough understanding of technical drawings, with the ability to review and comment on designs and subcontractor submissions.

Extensive hands-on experience as a Project Installation Engineer for security systems. ∙ The ability to lead and manage a fundamental part of an expeditionary project. ∙ In-depth knowledge of security projects and processes from conception to delivery. ∙ Success in working to tight timelines and interfacing with suppliers.

The ability to coordinate subcontractors' actions to meet specifications. ∙ Strong self-motivation and communication skills at all levels.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

The ability to manage constantly evolving workload priorities and make sound decisions. ∙ A reasonable degree of IT literacy in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. ∙ Certifications related to security systems or network infrastructure (e.g., from

manufacturers like Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Cisco) would be a significant advantage. ∙ A recognized project management qualification such as
PMP
or
PRINCE2 Practitioner
is highly desirable.
