Project Manager For Construction

Job Description:

The Project Manager leads the entire construction team to deliver a high-rise asset on time, within budget, and to the specified quality. You will navigate the high-stakes environment of vertical construction, where logistics, wind loads, and extreme height require a unique approach to safety and resource management. You are the primary point of contact for the client, consultants, and local authorities.

Key Site Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and all construction activities
• Lead and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers
• Ensure work execution follows drawings, specifications, standards, and contract terms
• Monitor project progress, schedule adherence, and productivity
• Implement and enforce HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies on site
• Conduct site meetings and provide clear instructions to project teams
• Resolve technical and operational issues directly at site
• Manage materials, manpower, and equipment planning to avoid delays
• Inspect and approve completed work to maintain quality compliance
• Ensure proper issuance of site instructions, RFIs, NCRs, and other site documentation
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal departments on site
• Report project status, risks, and site concerns to senior management
• Maintain site discipline, workflow efficiency, and resource optimization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 7–15+ years of experience managing construction projects on site
• Proven leadership in large, fast-paced construction environments
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site coordination
• Knowledge of project planning, quality control, and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to handle pressure and solve site challenges quickly

Preferred Experience

• High-rise building or mega project site management experience
• Middle East / UAE construction industry background
• Experience working with multinational contractors and consultants
