Project Manager - Power Distribution

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage power distribution projects including substations, transformers, and switchgear systems.
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards for all electrical installations.
• Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships for electrical equipment and services.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise project engineers, site supervisors, and project staff.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience (12+ years) in power distribution, substation, transformer, and switchgear projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, protection schemes.
• Excellent project management, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with electrical standards and codes (IEC, NEC, or local regulations).
• Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
