Lead Business Analyst (Functional Lead)

Location: Doha, Qatar

Leads the business requirements workstream for the Dhareeba 2.0 project. Conducts requirements gathering workshops with GTA business units, prepares Business Requirements Documents (BRD), and performs as-is process assessments. Collaborates with GTA’s tax departments to refine and standardize policies, processes, and user journeys while ensuring all regulatory requirements are captured. Works closely with the Technical Lead to develop and review Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) for each module. Manages a team of Business Analysts and coordinates iterative reviews with stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs during UAT.

Requirements:

• Strong background in business analysis and process modeling
• Proven experience preparing BRDs, SRS, and use cases for complex systems
• Knowledge of tax administration processes and terminology
• Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., SAP Signavio, BPMN)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., IIBA CBAP)
• Experience in government or ERP system projects is an advantage
