Project Manager-SAP S/4HANA & Satellite ERP Implementation

We are looking for an experienced Project manager to Animating, facilitate and support the preparation and successful implementation of all ALign project phases :
ALign is a strategic European project whereby all European affiliates will be converging their processes and systems with the implementation of a single ERP system, SAP S/4HANA and the integration of satellite ERP systems across our manufacturing, supply chain and retail operations combined with the core financial and controlling modules. This enterprise-wide digital transformation initiative aims to unify business processes with the group standard, optimize supply chain visibility, and support scalable growth.
The ideal candidate brings a track record of leading SAP projects in hybrid IT environments, with deep understanding of both core SAP and Supply chain /manufacturing ERP extensions and standard processes especially Quate to cash, P2P, FICO , and eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring timely escalation of risks and issues.
  • Prepare and animate project events like STrre - committed , training sessions and UAT events
  • Manage and coordinate for smooth both cutover and glove planning and execution and the hypercare as well
  • Coordinate & Facilitate the full lifecycle of the ALign program in the identified scope, including discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Support the integration and harmonization of satellite systems (e.g., WISE, Concur, Maximo , eCommerce, legacy ERPs) into the S/4HANA ecosystem.
  • Align project goals with manufacturing and retail business requirements—such as production planning, logistics, inventory, sales operations, FICO , and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with Group central Align team , DDS, GIO , GDO and cluster teams
  • Oversee vendor and system integrator management, contract deliverables, and SLA performance.
  • Facilitate data migration strategy, cleansing, and validation across disparate systems.
  • Coordinate & Facilitate stakeholder alignment across plants, distribution centers, stores, and corporate functions.
  • Lead change management, end-user training, and cutover activities to support operational readiness.
  • Deliver structured updates and reports to executive sponsors, steering committee, and functional leaders.

Are you a MATCH?

Requirements:
Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification required.
  • SAP S/4HANA or SAP Activate certification preferred.

Experience:

  • 7–10 years of project management experience in large-scale IT implementations.
  • Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP rollouts, with at least 1 in SAP S/4HANA , in a manufacturing and/or retail context.
  • Proven experience managing ERP satellite systems such as:
  • Manufacturing : MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), shop floor control, plant maintenance.
  • Retail : POS (Point of Sale), eCommerce, WMS (Warehouse Management), CRM.
  • Experience in multi-country or multi-site rollouts is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SAP modules relevant to manufacturing and retail: FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc,
  • Knowledge of integration tools and middleware (e.g., PI/PO, BTP, EDI frameworks).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Business fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Timely completion of key SAP & satellite ERP milestones
  • On-budget delivery and efficient resource utilization
  • Successful go-live with minimal business disruption = 3 continuous smooth monthly closing after the go-live
  • User adoption and training satisfaction rates
  • Stabilization and reduction of post-go-live issues
  • Cross-system integration success and data quality
