Project Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

The Project Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement activities for specific projects, ensuring timely sourcing, negotiation, and delivery of materials and services within budget and in compliance with company policies. The role involves coordination with internal project teams, suppliers, and logistics to ensure smooth execution of procurement plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements and project timelines.
• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services as per project needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality, price competitiveness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Track and monitor delivery schedules, and follow up with vendors to avoid delays.
• Maintain and update procurement records, supplier database, and reports.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost criteria.
• Work closely with inventory, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure proper material handling and documentation.
• Assist in budget control by obtaining competitive quotations and cost-saving initiatives.
• Handle any discrepancies or issues related to deliveries, quality, or invoicing.
• Ensure all procurement activities are in line with project schedules and cost objectives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong Understanding of regular materials required for executing marble or flooring projects in the site.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems or procurement software.
• Familiarity with contract terms and basic legal aspects of purchasing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any field.
• 2–5 years of UAE experience in project procurement role in marble or building material company.
• Driving license is a must.
• Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.
