We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Project Quality Manager
to join our team at a project site, to be based at
NEOM, Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inspection, testing and calibration control & Quality assurance from procurement through commissioning and start up including FLAWLESS initiatives throughout Project Management Life cycle for WIND BOP.
Responsibilities
Planning and Review:

Develop Project specific Quality manual, QA Plans and Procedures, WPS, WPQ, WPQR, WPR, Mix design review & approval, inspection and test plan, inspection schedules, field quality plans, and SAT Procedures according to the international standards, customer specifications and the local Statutory & Regulatory requirements.

Prepare/ review Method statements and get required approvals from PD/ CE.

Review supplier manufacturing quality plan, co-ordinate for inspection at supplier end, review and approve supplier inspection/ third party inspection report and submit to client for approval.

Provide process/product related inputs/ periodical reports to client as and when required.
Implementation:

Ensure the availability of latest specifications and relevant standards/codes of practice.

Set up and monitor QA/QC procedures at project site, in line with appropriate guidelines, law of the land, company policy and client requirements.
Materials:
-
Identify, calibrate, review and maintain list of testing and measuring equipment.

Inspect & test incoming materials, activities / workmanship as per ITP and obtain approval from customer representative as required and maintain records with identification & traceability.
Induction & Training:

Implement orientation/training programs relating to Quality for new joiners as well as existing workmen, staff, sub-contractor as and when required.

Explain method statement clearly to relevant team members while starting any new process.
Audits:

Arrange periodic Quality audits (performance, compliance and conformity) and workplace inspections by internal and external auditors that are in line with agreed standards and codes and address non-conformities immediately.

Review and prepare correction and corrective action pertaining to client NCR.

Raise NCR for any deviations and coordinate with respective dept. for root cause analysis and corrective action.
Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.

Certifications for relevant associations/ institutes/ accreditation bodies in Quality Management and assurance.

15+ years relevant experience out of which 5 + years should be in the similar capacity.

5+ years of experience in EPC – Wind project/ Substation site in a leadership position (QA/QC) with an EPC company.
