Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Supervisor to lead and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project requirements and ensure accurate implementation.
- Manage project budgets by coordinating with estimators and contractors, ensuring cost control while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee quality control procedures, conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, including scheduling updates, budget tracking, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders by managing contracts, change orders, and documentation via Bluebeam or other construction management tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites and teams.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Primavera; experience with HeavyBid is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contracts administration.
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety standards including OSHA regulations; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively.
- Technical skills in using tools like ohmmeters for electrical inspections and understanding of pipeline systems is advantageous.
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools for document control and collaboration.
