3-5+ years selling and managing architectural/technical lighting projects in the UAE.
- Some ties with consultants, contractors, developers, or Project Management companies. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the lighting sector.
- Understands specifications, can promote value engineering solutions, and converts opportunities to Purchase Orders - not just quote.
- Coordinate with Estimation & Design and colleagues to ensure solutions are feasible, compliant, and deliverable.
- Develop tailored lighting solutions aligned with client needs and project specifications. Technical presentations, quotations, and proposals.
- Pricing strategy, margin protection, Incoterms, payment terms; confident negotiator.
- Coordinate BOQs/quotes with the team; apply costing factors; issue accurate, on-time submissions.
- Manage technical submittals and secure approvals for datasheets, samples, and mock-ups.
- Prospecting discipline, CRM hygiene, revenue forecast; hit targets and flag risks with recovery plans. Contribute to overall business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Attend site meetings for coordination and variations; support collections when required.
- Understanding of CCT/CRI/beam angles/IP/IK ratings, drivers, and basic controls (DALI/0–10V); able to read architectural/RCP drawings and interpret lux calculations/reports.
- Stay current on lighting technologies, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Strong Excel skills; disciplined and professional email/WhatsApp communication.
- Valid UAE driving license and own car; confident spoken English; working knowledge of lighting brands/vendors common in the UAE.
