Job Overview:
As a Promo Writer specializing in fantasy content, you will create both short-form (2-minute) and long-form (30–40 minute) video ad scripts designed to captivate audiences, spark curiosity, and drive measurable growth.
This role is ideal for a creative storyteller who can craft instant hooks, iterate using performance insights, and excel in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with business and marketing teams to refine ad content that boosts installs, improves engagement, and achieves low CPI.
Key Responsibilities
• Craft High-Impact Ad Scripts
Write engaging short- and long-form promo scripts for Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube that spotlight our audio-series content and attract new users.
• Develop Powerful Story Hooks
Identify compelling themes, tropes, and narrative moments from fantasy stories to create multiple high-retention script variations.
• Optimize Using Data Insights
Analyze performance metrics (CPI, CTR, retention, completion rates), participate in A/B testing, and refine scripts to drive top-performing results.
• Write for the Right Audience
Adapt scripts for American audiences—ensuring cultural relevance and platform-native storytelling while maintaining brand voice.
Skills & Qualifications
• Experience: 3+ years in copywriting or content creation, preferably in performance marketing, social media advertising, or long-form storytelling.
• Proven Ability: Track record of crafting high-converting ad scripts for platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Analytical Approach: Ability to interpret and apply data insights (CPI, CTR, retention) to optimize content.
• Cultural Understanding: Strong knowledge of U.S. audience behavior, cultural nuances, and storytelling preferences.
• Platform Expertise: Up-to-date awareness of social media trends and skill in creating content that feels native to each platform.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience writing across both short-form and long-form formats
• Social media or performance marketing certifications (added advantage)
