We are a leading real estate, property management, and vacation rental brokerage in the state of Hawaii and are looking for an individual with proven experience in property management to join our team in Maui.
This is NOT a remote off-island position. The individual must be a full time resident of Maui.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Active Hawaii Real Estate license that must be transferred to and maintained at Hawaii Life.
- Knowledge of Hawaii real estate laws and principles as well as Hawaii property management practices and vacation rental rules and regulations.
- Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Hospitality, Finance, or practical experience in related field is a plus
- Other Skills: Administrative Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Microsoft Office Skills, Google Drive Skills, Organization, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Travel Logistics, Verbal Communication, Familiarity with Hawaii Vacation Rentals, Previous Administrative Experience, Proficient with Docusign Electronic Signature Software and Ability to Learn and Work Within Escapia (VR software).
Essential Functions & Responsibilities (includes but not limited to the following)
- Oversee all vendors on-premises and ensure the work completed is satisfactory.
- Conduct quality control for each arrival/departure
- Manage Housekeeping
- Manage guest concerns and respond to all phone calls and emails immediately.
- Manage maintenance and repairs
- Manage pre- and post-arrival inspections
- Maintain property supplies and submit proper accounting for reimbursements
- Communicate with homeowners regarding ongoing or required maintenance via email or phone call.
- Travel to properties for onsite visits/inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned and/or as applicable.
Property Management and Accounting Administrative Assistant
- Must be a Maui Hawaii resident
- Must possess active Hawaii Real Estate license
- Knowledge of Hawaii real estate law and principles as well as property management practices and vacation rental rules and regulations
- Experience with property management and vacation rentals in the state of Hawaii
- Effective supply management and scheduling skills
- Effective communication with people at all levels of the organization and outside vendors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite; familiar with Appfolio and Escapia
- Aptitude to learn new technologies
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, listening, judgment, decision making, verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
Compensation & Logistics
- Starting pay is $50K but qualifications and experience will determine actual compensation

- Mileage reimbursement
- On-demand schedule that includes after business hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Driving island wide is required.
