Property Manager

Beal Properties is looking for a Property Manager to help run the day-to-day operations of the apartment buildings we own across Chicago's North Side and the North Shore suburbs.

This is a role built for growth, with a real path to advance into a leadership role with our property management team. Property management experience is a plus but not required, and no certification is needed. We care most about judgment, work ethic, and how you treat people, and we'll train you where needed. Our team is close-knit, supportive, and genuinely enjoys working together.

What you'll do

• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and tenant improvements with our building engineers, and keep them on schedule
• Handle tenant needs promptly and professionally
• Review vendor and contractor invoices
• Analyze and review rents (training provided)
• Find ways to save on costs and run more efficiently
• Visit the buildings periodically

How it works

This role is based mostly in our office, with periodic visits to the buildings. A car is needed for these visits, and mileage is reimbursed.

Requirements

• Experience in property management, a related field, or customer service (we value hands-on experience)
