Residential Property Manager

Job description:

The ideal candidate will be organized; detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills and capable of critical thinking. Must also have strong leasing skills and a previous track record in managing large, non-subsidized, multi-unit apartment complexes. A strong history of professional advancement is preferred.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous successful experience of at least 3 years as a residential property manager of complexes and/or buildings with over 50 units with low vacancies.
  • Strong experience on how to advertise online in Craigslist, Zillow, Domu, Apartment.com, etc.
  • Knowledge of how to professionally deal with tenants and how to solve their problems.
  • Ability to personally show and lease apartments.
  • Must be able to provide leadership, motivation and direction for the building staff.
  • Candidate must work flexible hours, including late days with the ability to show apartments between 5-7 PM.
  • Working ½ day on Saturdays also required.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and perform leasing activities.
  • Motivate and work with staff (engineers, door staff, janitors, etc) and supervise contractors.
  • Maintain the highest possible occupancy.
  • Run the building at the highest standards in the industry.

Education:

  • Minimum of a four-year college degree.
